This Sunday is my powerlifting competition. Harold Gibbons (<< competing too!) and Erika Hurst will be coming into town for it so we decided to film a Q&A Session for ya’ll.  They’re both very knowledgeable in the realm of training while I know…. science.

Kind of.

Anyway, feel free to ask away anything you want answered! Seriously. Anything.

Want to know more about where to start weight training? What about women in weight training or women gaining muscle? WHAT ABOUT MOBILITY DRILLS?!?!?! ASK USSSSSS*. If you don’t, I am just going to film us talking shop and you will watch it whether or not you like it.

    I would like to know a lot of things. Tell me everything you know…haha jk…but not really. I would love to know more about what mobility drills you all do. I have my own I do but my hips are not only tight but hurt during certain squatting positions. Another topic, how do you all squat, howmdidmyou learn the right position for your body. Since squatting hurts me sometimes, I dont do it as much as I should although I make sure I do some form of squatting regularily. Maybe goblet kb squats or bw squats…it barely seems to help.
    Are you going to continue training this way after the meet? Also please document the meet. I may want to compete one day and would love to see how you did it.
    What is your diet and training like the week leading up to the meet? I would assume eat plenty and not train crazy. What do you eatnthe night before?

    Enough questions? I can keep them coming haha :-)
